A steel erector is essential in building projects, responsible for assembling and placing the structural framework. They follow blueprints closely to ensure accurate installation of steel beams and columns, setting the foundation for further construction work.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Assist in the installation of trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of interior spaces;

  • Prepare and install cabinetry, shelving, and other built-in fixtures according to project specifications and design plans;

  • Hang doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality;

  • Perform wood staining, painting, and finishing techniques to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood surfaces;

  • Install and finish flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, with a focus on precision and craftsmanship;

  • Construct and install custom furniture pieces, such as bookcases, benches, and entertainment centers, to meet client requirements;

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution;

  • Use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks;

  • Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols;

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finishing carpentry or a related field, with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials;

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in finishing carpentry, with a focus on safety and precision;

  • Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately;

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality;

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
