WHAT WILL YOU DO

Performing maintenance, inspections, and tests in accordance with BMWT and NEN standards
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
Carrying out repairs and overhauls on forklifts and other mobile machinery
Advising customers on maintenance and safe operation
Keeping digital service records up to date via laptop or tablet

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Strong interest in technology and maintenance of forklifts and internal transport equipment
Eagerness to learn and affinity with mobile machinery or the automotive industry
Independent, structured, and creative in problem-solving
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits
Valid driver’s license is mandatory
Relevant technical education or experience is advantageous, but a motivated, hands-on approach is equally valued

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Assist in the installation of trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of interior spaces;

Aid in the preparation and installation of cabinetry, shelving, and other built-in fixtures according to project specifications and design plans;

Support the hanging of doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality;

Assist with wood staining, painting, and finishing techniques to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood surfaces;

Help with the installation and finishing of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, with attention to detail and craftsmanship;

Assist in the construction and installation of custom furniture pieces, such as bookcases, benches, and entertainment centers, under the guidance of experienced carpenters;

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution;

Learn to use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks;

Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred, with exposure to finishing carpentry considered a plus;
Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills;
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude;
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods;
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
