Inspect concrete structures, including bridges, buildings, parking garages, and sidewalks, to identify areas in need of repair or maintenance;
Assess the extent and severity of concrete damage, such as cracks, spalling, and deterioration, using visual inspections, testing equipment, and other diagnostic tools;
Develop and implement repair plans and strategies based on the specific needs of each project, considering factors such as structural integrity, safety, and aesthetics;
Perform a variety of concrete repair techniques, including patching, resurfacing, sealing, and reinforcing, to restore damaged areas to their original condition;
Use hand and power tools, including grinders, saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment, to prepare surfaces, remove deteriorated concrete, and apply repair materials;
Apply specialized coatings, sealants, and waterproofing systems to protect concrete surfaces from further damage and deterioration;
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate repair activities and ensure timely completion of projects;
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed reports, photos, and documentation of materials and equipment used;
Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete repair or a related field, with a strong understanding of concrete materials, techniques, and repair methods;
Proficiency in diagnosing concrete damage and developing effective repair solutions based on industry standards and best practices;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Experience operating hand and power tools commonly used in concrete repair, with a focus on safety and precision;
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
