WHAT WE OFFER YOU

·        Weekly payment;

·        Contract for 40 h per week with the possibility of a permanent contract;

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Assess demolition project requirements, including identifying structural elements, materials, and hazards, and developing demolition plans accordingly;

  • Safely dismantle and remove structural components, including walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and fixtures, using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery as needed;

  • Salvage reusable materials and fixtures, such as lumber, doors, windows, and hardware, for recycling or resale purposes;

  • Sort and dispose of demolition debris and waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies;

  • Perform selective demolition to preserve designated structural elements or finishes as specified by project plans and requirements;

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that demolition work is completed on schedule and within budget;

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials;

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices;

  • Monitor work site conditions and identify potential hazards or risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate safety concerns.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • Proven experience as a demolition carpenter or similar role in the construction industry;

  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials used in demolition projects;

  • Familiarity with demolition procedures, including selective demolition, structural dismantling, and debris removal;

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery for demolition tasks, such as saws, hammers, jackhammers, and excavators;

  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects in a construction environment;

  • Excellent understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to demolition work;

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision;

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in demolition workmanship;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
