WHAT WILL YOU DO

Install, fix, and maintain pipes, water systems, and plumbing fixtures.
Read blueprints and instructions to plan the plumbing work.
Check the plumbing systems to find problems like leaks or blockages and fix them.
Ensure all plumbing work meets safety standards and building codes.
Keep plumbing tools and equipment clean and in good condition.
Work together with team members to complete jobs on time.
Communicate with customers to explain what needs to be done and make sure they are satisfied.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Previous experience as a plumber or in a similar job is helpful.
Knowledge of plumbing tools, systems, and safety rules.
Able to read simple blueprints and instructions.
Good at solving problems and paying attention to details.
Able to work well with a team and follow instructions.
Strong communication skills to speak with customers and coworkers.
A valid driver’s license is preferred.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Assist in the installation of trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of interior spaces;

Aid in the preparation and installation of cabinetry, shelving, and other built-in fixtures according to project specifications and design plans;

Support the hanging of doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality;

Assist with wood staining, painting, and finishing techniques to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood surfaces;

Help with the installation and finishing of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, with attention to detail and craftsmanship;

Assist in the construction and installation of custom furniture pieces, such as bookcases, benches, and entertainment centers, under the guidance of experienced carpenters;

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution;

Learn to use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks;

Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred, with exposure to finishing carpentry considered a plus;
Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills;
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude;
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods;
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
