WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Install, inspect, and maintain cable tray systems to support the routing and management of electrical cables within utility facilities;

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan cable tray installations and ensure compliance with project specifications;

  • Select and install cable tray components, including supports, brackets, and fittings, according to industry standards and safety regulations;

  • Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure the timely and efficient completion of cable tray installations;

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate;

  • Troubleshoot cable tray problems and implement effective solutions to maintain system functionality and reliability;

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cable tray worker or similar role, preferably within the utility or construction industry;

  • Strong knowledge of cable tray systems, components, and installation techniques;

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints;

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cable tray installation;

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure quality workmanship;

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety guidelines and procedures;
