WHAT WILL YOU DO

Flange Installation: Assemble and install flanged connections according to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
Flange Maintenance: Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of flanged connections to ensure proper functionality.
Bolt Torqueing: Use torque wrenches and other tools to apply the correct torque values to bolts securing flanges.
Gasket Handling: Select, cut, and install gaskets properly to achieve leak-free flange connections.
Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, or specifications to determine flange layout and installation procedures.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations while performing flange-related tasks to maintain a safe work environment.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Proven experience as a Flange Mechanic or in a similar role.
Proficiency in flange assembly, disassembly, and maintenance techniques.
Knowledge of different flange types, gasket materials, and bolt torqueing procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Previous experience in industrial or construction environments preferred.
Availability for a full-time work schedule.
Residency in or willingness to relocate to the specified work area.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Assist in the installation of trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of interior spaces;

Aid in the preparation and installation of cabinetry, shelving, and other built-in fixtures according to project specifications and design plans;

Support the hanging of doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality;

Assist with wood staining, painting, and finishing techniques to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood surfaces;

Help with the installation and finishing of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, with attention to detail and craftsmanship;

Assist in the construction and installation of custom furniture pieces, such as bookcases, benches, and entertainment centers, under the guidance of experienced carpenters;

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution;

Learn to use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks;

Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred, with exposure to finishing carpentry considered a plus;
Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills;
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude;
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods;
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
