Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery, including but not limited to pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic systems;

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, alignment, and adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of mechanical systems;

Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;

Replace or repair faulty components, such as bearings, seals, gears, and valves, to restore equipment functionality;

Fabricate and weld metal parts and components as needed to repair or modify mechanical systems;

Install new equipment and machinery according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards;

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other trades to plan and execute maintenance activities and projects.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting;

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic systems;

Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in mechanical maintenance and repair;

Experience with welding and metal fabrication techniques preferred but not required;

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively;

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
