WHAT WE OFFER YOU

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of finishing carpenters, including trim carpenters, cabinetmakers, and furniture builders, to ensure that work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines;

  2. Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to finishing carpentry team members, including training, mentoring, and coaching as needed;

  3. Oversee the setup and preparation of construction sites for finishing carpentry work, including the installation of trim, cabinetry, and built-in fixtures.;

  4. Monitor the progress of finishing carpentry projects, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality;

  5. Inspect completed work to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements, making adjustments as needed;

  6. Coordinate with project managers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, address challenges, and ensure smooth project execution;

  7. Enforce safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members;

  8. Manage material inventory, equipment usage, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and minimize waste;

  9. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily progress reports, timesheets, and quality control documentation.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finishing carpentry or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role;

  • Extensive knowledge of finishing carpentry techniques, materials, and equipment, with a proven track record of successful project completion;

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals;

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage challenges and overcome obstacles;

  • Thorough understanding of construction plans, specifications, and safety regulations, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
