WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations;

  • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable termination for various equipment and components;

  • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system functionality;

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential problems;

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and maintenance activities;

  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, supervisors, and contractors, to coordinate work and achieve project goals;

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues;

  • Complete documentation of work performed, including reports, maintenance logs, and inspection records.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical systems preferred;

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation work;

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, including troubleshooting techniques;

  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints;

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work;

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team;

  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively;

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety guidelines and procedures;

  • Valid [Country/Region] driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
